NURSERY school pupils hit the right note to help raise cash for an alarm system at their burglary-hit school.
Pupils at Turncroft Nursery, Darwen, held a sponsored sing to raise cash for the alarm after the Lancashire County Council-run premises were hit by thieves.
In the latest break-in, a microwave oven, computer and other electrical equipment, as well as freshly baked buns made by the children, were stolen.
Now staff are hoping to raise cash for the alarm to deter would-be intruders.
