NOMINATIONS are being invited for the North West tourist attraction of the year.
The awards - presented by the North West Tourist Board and sponsored by British Nuclear Fuels - are due to be presented in August at Blackpool Pleasure Beach's Paradise Room.
Anthony Goldstone, chairman of the NW Tourist Board, said: "The 1996 awards will recognise the very best tourism operators in the region and the people who continue to provide the high standard of facilities which visitors to the region have come to expect."
Nominations should be sent to North West Tourist Attraction of the Year, North West Tourist Board, Swan House, Swan Meadow Road, Wigan Pier, Wigan WN3 5BB by May 31.
