AN ambitious challenge is being undertaken by intrepid members of Burnley's Round Table for the SuperScan Appeal.
Alan Boys, Dave Hogarth, Stuart Sugitt and Dave Holden will travel from the northern most part of Norway to the southern most part of Gibraltar in a 4x4 vehicle starting on August 28.
Their journey will take them through 14 countries..
Alan said: "We are taking a lap-top computer with us and a mobile phone which operates all over Europe, so that we can keep in constant touch with people back home, and send back a daily diary of our journey."
The crew are asking people to support the cause by guessing how many miles they will cover.
The trip will take about seven days, with another seven days to get to and from their starting and finishing points.
