THE first pet food 'meals on wheels' delivery has put manufacturer Wuffitmix en route to a stray dogs' home.
The Clitheroe-based firm donated several tonnes of its dried dog food for distribution at National Canine Defence League rescue centres in Evesham and Darlington.
"We hope this latest team-up will promote awareness about the nutritional needs of our canine companions as well as bringing much-needed benefits to some of those less fortunate dogs being cared for at these vital rescue centres," said Howard Blackburn, sales and marketing manager.
