KHALID Parvez has turned his car hobby into a 'wheely' good business!
The 27-year-old Nelson businessman has launched Auto Car Design Centre on Leeds Road to supply accessories for high-performance cars.
Khalid decided to set up on his own after a two-year spell of unemployment, and joined the ELTEC FirmBase scheme, administered in his hometown by Pendle Enterprise Trust.
"The advice I received from both was excellent," said Khalid, who spends all his spare time working on cars.
"They helped me research and market my business and to draw up a professional business plan which I used when applying for a loan from the Prince's Youth Business Trust."
