A 123 per cent rise in the share price of Blackburn based TDS Circuits took it to the top of a North West investment league.
The printed circuit board manufacturer has seen a return to profits after eight years in the red.
It was the best performer in the March Sharewatch table compiled by Cooper & Lybrand.
Office furniture group Calderburn finished fourth in the table and Airtours 12th.
And investors are being advised to hold or buy shares in TDS Circuits by stockbrokers Henry Cooke Lumsden.
It also recommends holding on to shares in Airtours, Scapa, P&P and Seton Healthcare and puts buy recommendations on Silentnight, Crown Eyeglass and Wolstenholme Rink.
