WELL, well, is Europrint Promotions boss Barry Killy (LET, April 18) the young man I remember from when I was a machinist more than 30 years ago at Cambridge Press in Clayton-le-Moors.
Barry's mum and dad and grandad Charlie, were the best bosses I have ever worked for - not afraid to get their hands dirty.
Barry and his little friend, Ian, used to play happily with an old cardboard box, filled with old football tickets, pulling it with a piece of string.
They were happy days. Charlie would come bustling round with his usual Friday rush: "Come on, I want these tickets finished as soon as possible." And we never failed to do just that.
What a fine young man Barry has made. But then his Mum and his Dad were smashing too.
