TRANSPLANT teenager Tammy Clark could be moved into a hospital "flat" next week.
Tammy, 17, who lives with her parents in Brookside View, Oswaldtwistle, underwent a heart and liver transplant at Newcastle's Freeman Hospital almost two weeks ago.
The student at St Mary's College, Blackburn, was said to be doing "very well" and is up and about on a special transplant ward.
A spokeswoman at the top transplant hospital said: "We are hoping to move her into hospital accommodation next week.
"We have accommodation within the grounds where a patient and their family can stay and be quite self-sufficient looking after themselves.
"The hospital is next door should a problem arise," she added.
Tammy's mother, Mrs Ethel Clark, is with her daughter at the hospital.
