TWIN ginger tomcats dumped as kittens in an Accrington back alley four years ago have been separated only five days after being reunited.
Now heartbroken Lynda Godoy, who lives in Guide, is desperate for any information about her missing cat, Thomas, who went awol from her home almost four weeks ago.
Lynda, 32, who lives in Haslingden Road, suspects he may be trying to make his way back to Accrington where he previously lived in the Barden Road area of Spring Hill.
Thomas and her other cat, Henry, were found as new-born kittens in a crisp packet in an Accrington back alley and taken in by separate families.
Cat-lover Lynda was told the story a couple of years ago when she agreed to give one of the a home.
The Blackburn College student said: "A few weeks ago I got a phone call from a woman who had heard I had taken Henry in.
"She had his twin brother, Thomas, and asked me to take him in as well as she was moving out of the area.
"I was delighted and when I saw them together they were absolutely identical," she added.
But her joy was short-lived as only five days later Thomas slipped out of the door and disappeared.
Lynda, who can be contacted on 676205, has advertised and scoured the Guide and Accrington areas without success.
