AVERAGE managers' pay in the North West rose by five per cent last year to £29,533.
And directors saw their earnings increase by almost 10 per cent to £76,376, according the pay survey carried out by the Institute of Management.
The survey found there was an increasing link between managers' pay and their company's performance.
