BURNLEY can't expect any favours from old boy Brian Flynn at the Racecourse Ground tomorrow.
Flynn - tipped by the bookies to take over at Turf Moor when Jimmy Mullen's reign ended a few weeks ago - has put his Wrexham side on the play-off trail.
And a win over relegation-haunted Burnley tomorrow is the only thing on his mind.
"Adrian Heath would not expect any favours," he said.
"I have a job to do here and that is what I am concentrating on."
While Wrexham have made a late surge towards the play-offs Burnley have slumped to the other end of the table but Flynn - who watched Burnley's defeat at home to Bristol Rovers in midweek - would not be drawn into a debate about the Clarets recent form.
"That is for Adrian to worry about.
"Obviously I would be sorry if Burnley were to go down.
"That is only natural because they are one of my old sides but that is as far as it goes.
"In the same way I would be unhappy if Leeds were to be relegated because they are one of my old teams too."
Heath will be only too aware that his depleted side face a stiff test tomorrow. "We are the leading scorers in the Division and the leading scorers at home," said Flynn.
"We like to play attacking football which is what I like and what the spectators like."
Wrexham have taken 14 points out of the last 18 and are aiming to claim a play-off berth.
They will have midfield man Peter Ward back from a two-match suspension.
Brian Flynn is expected to choose from: Marriott, McGregor, Hardy, B Jones, Hunter, Chalk, Phillips, Owen, Ward, Connolly, L Jones, Hughes, Watkin, Morriss, Hulmes.
Adrian Heath has a selection headache in the heart of his defence with Peter Swan suspended for one game.
Gerry Harrison serves the third of his three-game ban so Heath finds his options strictly limited.
There were also one or two slight knocks he was checking from the midweek defeat against Bristol Rovers.
The big question is over the formation. Heath has used five at the back in recent weeks but may well revert to a flat back four because of his injury and suspension problems.
Heath is expected to chose from: Beresford, Parkinson, Eyres, Winstanley, Bishop, Weller, Joyce, Thompson, Smith, Robinson, Nogan, Harper, Mahorn, Heath.
