MORE than 500 young people flocked to Ewood Park in a bid to match their career ambitions with a job.
Dozens of local employers set up stands to promote opportunities under the Modern Apprenticeship scheme in areas including engineering, construction and information technology.
Another launch evening will be held at Turf Moor on April 25.
"There are over 200 job vacancies on offer at these events but in fact new Modern Apprenticeship opportunities arise every week," said ELTEC's education and training development director Andy Fawcett.
