ACCRINGTON Stanley ended their season on a high note with a well deserved win at Guiseley.
Stanley took the lead on nine minutes, Brett Ormerod intercepted a poor back pass by Mark Ledingham and seeing goalkeeper Steve Dickinson off his line superbly curled the ball round him into the net.
On 29 minutes Ormerod got in a good header from a Darren Thornton cross which went just over the bar.
Guiseley's best chance of the half was a long range shot from Billy Roberts.
Ormerod scored Stanley's second goal on 54 minutes, heading in a cross from the left by Welch. Guiseley pulled a goal back after 75 minutes when Neil Matthews scored from close range but the Reds restored their two goal lead a minute later, Lee Rogerson put Thornton clear and he went on to score.
