NO, it's not April Fool's Day so it must be true.
The Church of Scotland is serious about its plan to remove Jerusalem from the hymn book because it claims no-one knows what it means.
It's also considering doing away with the popular carol God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen because it feels the word "gentlemen" could exclude many people from singing the hymn.
The two appear in a list of 200 which the church's general assembly will later this month consider excluding from the book.
So will there be anything left when the politically correct have finished with the censoring pen?
Or will old favourites have to be replaced with more up-to-date versions, such as "All Creatures Vertically and Horizontally Challenged"
