PRO-life campaigners in East Lancashire gathered in the Ribble Valley to as part of a nationwide protest against abortion. A dozen members of the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children - SPUC - lined the Clitheroe by-pass on Saturday carrying placards with the message "Abortion Kills Children".
They joined thousands of anti-abortionists who took part in protests at the same time across the country.
Chairman of the Ribble Valley SPUC branch Vic Mafia said: "It was a national protest held to mark the four million children who have been legally killed since the Abortion Act was introduced in 1968."
