JUDGES are looking for innovative pub designs in Lancashire to compete in a prestigious national competition.
The 1996 Pub Design Awards are run by CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, in conjunction with English heritage.
There are four categories: Best New Build Pub, Best Conversion to Pub Use, Best Refurbishment and the English heritage Award for Conservation.
Entries may be made by the owner, the licensee, the architects, the CAMRA branch covering the pub or any other interested party.
The deadline for the awards, which have been running since 1982, is July 1, 1996.
