THE next meeting of Westleigh Community Partnership will discuss ways of providing a motorbike track for local youngsters.
They are hoping to get hold of a piece of land next to the Asda store and talks are under way.
Members are also keen to raise funds to buy equipment for the youth centre and will be holding a jumble sale on Friday, May 24. The club's secretary Pamela Stewart would like to hear from anyone who has anything they would like to donate.
Pamela said: "There has been some interest shown from Pensioners Link to work within the centre helping the local businesses. The police have also shown some interest in using the centre to hand out information to local residents, this will include advice on security, fitting locks and door chains, also other services they have available."
Anyone intertested in helping or joining the partnership is invited to attend the meeting on Thursday, May 9, in the XII Apostle Club.
