FOUR hundred scooter-riding Mods took over part of Morecambe seafront today for their annual Bank Holiday rally.
Motoring organisations reported that roads were jammed as a mass exodus of people travelled to the Lake District and other resorts.
Twenty six people died when an airliner, which had just landed in Sri Lanka from Gatwick with 128 passengers on board, was almost broken in two by an explosion.
