THIS week is Red Cross Week and I call upon readers to join in helping the Lancashire Branch of the British Red Cross during this key date in its calendar.
Volunteers are collecting funds which will be used to provide a range of services to help people in crisis in the Lancashire area, including first aid duties and loaning of essential items such as wheelchairs.
We are pinning our hopes on you to make Red Cross Week more successful than ever.
