ROSSENDALE United will be glad to see the back of their 1995/96 season as they suffered a 4-0 defeat in their last match of the season at Holker Old Boys.
After having to make several changes to the side that played on Saturday the players found it difficult to adapt and turned in a rather poor performance.
Dale went behind in the fourth minute whith Lee O'Keefe giving Holker a good start.
And although United had a few chances they could not put the ball away and ended up going in 3-0 down at half time.
With a tough task ahead in the second half the situation did not look promising.
But United managed to hold the opposition right until the 89 minute when they succumbed to the pressure and Holker added their fourth, although again chances went begging at the other end.
