CLUB owner Margo Grimshaw has announced she will stand in the General Election for the second time.
The owner of Blackburn's C'est La Vie and Never Never Land is undecided whether to stand independently or as one of Sir James Goldsmith's referendum party candidates.
Margo, dubbed Blackburn's disco queen, will fight her campaign on an anti-Europe front and reckons she can give the town's current MP, Jack Straw, a run for his money.
She said: "There's no reason why Britain should be governed from Europe.
"I strongly believe we should retain our own sovereignty and not let others tell us what to do. "If we end up being ordered about by Brussels, then it will be like living in never, never land.
"We are a strong nation and there is no reason we can't go-it-alone.
"On home issues I think the entire benefits system needs a complete shake-up. If people can't afford children, they shouldn't have them."
The self-made businesswoman, who drives a multi-coloured Rolls Royce, lost her deposit in the 1992 elections but is urging the public to get involved.
She added: "I like to think I am in touch with the people of Blackburn but want them to write or call me and let me know what issues they think are important."
