GOAL ace Alan Shearer has a new partner up front - a six-foot orange monster!
The Blackburn Rovers star joins the Honey Monster character on the front of boxes of Sugar Puffs.
The Rovers star, who is currently advertising a denim-wear firm and has featured on the front of telephone cards, is one of six players created in two-inch models found inside the breakfast cereal packets. And Shearer reveals on the back of the box that his favourite singer is Phil Collins and Kevin Keegan is his top sports personality. He says his most memorable goal was the first he scored for England against France in 1992.
The Honey Monster 'supreme team' includes Ruud Gullit, Jamie Redknapp, Ally McCoist, Lee Sharpe and Les Ferdinand.
But fans shouldn't be too disappointed if they don't pick up a mini Shearer inside the packet - they can swap them in a 'free transfer market' with cereal-makers Quaker Oats.
