MORE than 300 young people had the chance to plan their first career moves when they attended the recent Your Future - Your Options day at Bury Town Hall.
Sixteen trained providers from a wide range of occupations were on hand to speak to the youngsters and their parents about some of the options available to them when they leave school this summer.
And representatives from Bury Bolton Training and Enterprise Council and Bury Careers Service were also there to provide information on the work-based learning routes of Quest Careerships and Modern Apprenticeships.
The youngsters were given the chance to have their say about the effectiveness of the event by completing questionnaires - all of which were entered into a prize draw held at the end of the event.
Winners were Patrick Sheehan of St Gabriel's High School, Emma Wilson of Elton High School, and Kelly Hutchinson of Bury Church of England High School.
The three each received record vouchers.
More information about career options is available from Jean Sawyer at Bury Bolton Tec on 01204 526526.
