LOWERHOUSE continued their perfect start to the season on Sunday as Shawn Flegler made an unbeaten 159 in a total of 237-6 to put the result of their game with Accrington beyond doubt.
The Australian professional also took four lower-order wickets for 18 runs to help bowl Accrington out for 96. It was another five points for Lowerhouse after Saturday's win over Todmorden, and they now top the Marsden Lancashire League on 20 points after four games.
Colne made up for defeat to Ramsbottom by skittling Rawtenstall - 59 all out - to take five points after Johnson and Moulding each took five wickets in the 90-run win. Nelson also followed up defeat on Saturday with a win on Sunday. They withstood Allan Donald's bowling to pass Rishton's 115 with one wicket standing.
Burnley faced Donald and Saturday and managed to reach 133-8, which was too much for Rishton, who were 114 all out.
But against Church on Sunday they could not defend their total of 164-5. The home team made 165 with six wickets in hand.
