ALL of us feel sympathy for those whose livelihoods have been seriously damaged by the BSE crisis. However, financial aid for the meat industry will run to billions of pounds yet only £4.5 million has been pledged for research into CJD, despite the possibility that unknown numbers of people may be afflicted by this appalling condition.
The Creutzfeldt-Jakob Support Group offers support to victims' families and is the only organisation campaigning for urgent research into the disease.
Please support us by sending donations made out to the Creutzfeldt-Jakob Network and by lobbying your MP and Euro MP to press for funding for research.
