WE have read the letter from Barry Graham, "Say goodbye to noisy neighbours" in last week's Citizen and agree with everything he said.
We are people who enjoy our own home. We both had to work hard for many years in order to bring up our family in a place we loved. Noisy neighbours ruined this for us and we hope someday they will reap the consequences.
They are too arrogant and ignorant to appreciate how much damage they have caused, and they care nothing for other people's peace and quiet.
For more than 10 years, we have had noise, noise, noise - despite visits from the police, the council and other local residents. Consideration is not a word they understand.
Well, according to Barry Graham's letter, they will have to start thinking and acting differently, unless they want to break the law and find themselves heavily fined in the process.
We would urge that maximum fines be imposed. Then they might realise the damaging extent of their stupid behaviour.
We also agree that victims should make their views known and this is why we have written to the Citizen.
