WHILE I have a high regard for our MP, Janet Anderson, I can not understand why she has chosen to criticise the public lavatories in Darwen Market Hall.
There is nothing wrong with them at all as they are clean, well-equipped and very conveniently situated.
If there is any money spare for Darwen Market, it should surely go towards reducing the rents for the stalls or else there will soon be no need for lavatories in the hall.
If the stalls continue to close at their present rate, everybody will have to go into Blackburn for their shopping.
