DRIVERS were 'stuck' in a Traffic jam today when a tanker spilled three tons of glue on to a busy road.
Traffic on New Church Road, Waterfoot, ground to a halt following the spillage at 9.20am.
The water-based adhesive was five inches deep in places as fire crews struggled to clear it from the road.
Environmental health officers were also attending the scene at an area known locally as The Glen.
The lorry is believed to have crashed on a sharp bend in the road.
