INTREPID members of Bury Church of England High School's wildlife group are to jet off on a trip of a lifetime in July when they will travel to Kenya to deliver a desperately needed lorry to Daphne Shedrick's orphan elephant and rhino project in Tsavo National Park.
Teacher Jackie Vet completely surprised the handful of keen wild life workers when she told them they would be making the trip, courtesy of travel companies.
They are from left Jemma Jones, 15, Bernadette York, 15, Lindsay O'Toole, 14, Harriet Percival, 16, and Chris Brain, 13.
Other children at the school also contributed to the project.
