SOUTH American style is the theme for this year's Bury Lions Carnival and Gala to be staged on June 8.
The parade will start from Bury Football Club car park at noon and wind its way through the town centre along the new, extended route used last year.
It will make its way to the Castlecroft showground where a fun day for all the family is promised.
Star attraction is Eddie Kidd, the world champion stunt motor-cyclist who will give a breath-taking car-jumping display.
There will be arena acts throughout the afternoon and over 100 stalls, commercial, non commercial and schools will be represented here.
There will also be a huge army dispay and a chance to try the thrill of the high rope death slide.
Other attractions include a paint ball range, a rifle range, a junior assault course and many specialist displays.
For a float or stall application form contact Norman Ashton on 01706 21 7028 as soon as possible as these are filling up fast.
All proceeds from the Carnival and Gala go to Lions charitable projects in the local community.
