COUNCILLOR Janet Horner tried her new outfit for size yesterday (Wednesday) when she was elected as the city's new Mayor.
The Labour councillor was sworn in at the city council's annual meeting and will serve in the role for the next 12 months replacing Cllr Shirley Burns. Cllr Paddy Kavanagh will be her deputy.
This is the second time that Cllr Horner has served as the city's Mayor, she first filled the role back in the 1970s.
