I WOULD like to thank the Coronary Care nursing staff at Blackburn Infirmary and the staff in D3 at Queen's Park Hospital, whose skill, care and attention enabled my father to make a complete recovery from a recent heart attack.
The National Health Service has been criticised over the years, but it is the envy of the world.
The doctors, nurses, ambulance and administration staff are a credit to their vocational professions and the nation's most valued asset.
