COUNCILLORS will discuss the progress of a campaign to coax people out of their cars at a meeting of the county highways and transport committee tomorrow.
The Travelwise Transport Awareness Campaign was launched in October to encourage people to use their cars less and to turn to public transport, cycling and walking.
A Walk-to-School Day in March was one of the major events organised as part of the campaign and Lancashire schoolchildren will be encouraged to take part in another two such days on June 27 and October 10.
