A CHARITY night for terminally ill toddler Amy Allan broke all records for the working men's club that staged it.
The Furthergate Working Men's Club in Blackburn often holds fund-raising events for local causes - but the charity night they held for Amy has been their most successful to date.
The event held earlier this month raised a fantastic £1,119 for the Amy Allan Appeal Fund.
The fund was launched last year to pay for equipment and help for Amy who suffers from the extremely rare and incurable Batten's Disease. Supporters have already raised £5,000 for the appeal.
Now her parents Debbie and Stephen are hoping to take her to Disney World in Florida before her eyesight fails totally.
Stephen said: "I was amazed at the money raised on the night.
"Everyone has really rallied round to help us, and we can't thank them enough."
