FANATICAL Clarets supporter and Burnley MP Peter Pike was casting aside his parliamentary cares today as he rushed up North for a more important engagement - Turf Moor's play-off clash with Torquay.
A combination of hired cars were to whisk him to and from airports.
He said: "If we do manage to play Blackpool at Wembley it would be a great Lancashire occasion and one every Lancastrian would like to see."
