A JOBS scheme aims to link college leavers with bosses searching for new staff.
The Direct Help into Jobs project, run by Nelson and Colne College, aims to place 200 students into jobs, and provide them with free training and an evening or day release basis.
The project will also offer a wage subsidy of up to £56 per week to employers.
Job seekers, who must be a student or a recent student at the college, aged over 16 and out of work for at least six months, and employers have been invited to find out more about the scheme at its launch at Primet Business Centre, Colne, on June 4.
