FESTIVAL fever hits Leigh's Hilton Park this weekend.
There will be a variety of entertainment including Tongan pig roasting and rugby and soccer tournaments.
On Friday, the weekend kicks off with a Big Band night with the Ronnie Moore Orchestra.
A specially built marquee has been erected for this next to the main stand.
On Saturday, there's the first of two fun days, starting at noon.
Attractions include a variety of stalls, bouncy castles, rugby and soccer tournaments and rides.
The Houghton Weavers provide the evening's entertainment in the marquee.
Sunday is dedicated to the big Rugby League clash between Leigh Centurions and Doncaster Dragons, starting at 3pm.
Line dancing will be featured at an Irish night in the marquee in the evening.
On Bank Holiday Monday, the second fun day takes place.
Special events include a junior clash of the codes rugby match and a Tongan pig roasting with Leigh players Jimmy Veikoso and Tau Liku.
The four day gala weekend will come to a climax on Monday night with a reunion of the 1971 Challenge Cup winning side.
Leigh legends Alex Murphy, Tony Barrow and Derek Watts will meet again for a mixed dinner in the marquee.
A club spokesman said: "The whole festival should be a spectacular event for the town. We hope as many people will get behind us as possible."
