WORKERS at the food distribution company Strachan's in Ribbleton, Preston, are celebrating this week after five numbers came up on their Lottery syndicate.
But three of the 24 staff won't be partying because, much as they'd like to, they can't join the syndicate.
The unfortunate three applied to join when it was already up and running.
Office worker Janet Bradley said: "We have a waiting list of people who want to join but they have to wait until someone leaves before they can come in."
Lottery losers Robert Taylor, Aiden Holden and Raymond Sharratt missed out on a £1,730 pay-out - £82 each for the other staff.
