POLICE have warned the public not to approach a man who has been missing from home since Monday, May 6.

They believe Leicester man John Hogg, 35, may be in Preston where he is known to have connections.

He was last seen at the Towers Hospital, Gipsy Lane, Leicester at about 9.40am on May 6.

John Hogg is a single man with no Leicestershire family ties.

He is white, 5ft 7ins tall, speaks with a north-east accent and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a dark rugby shirt, black tracksuit bottoms and training shoes. He may be using the surnames Bradford, Richardson or Roberts. Mr Hogg is believed to have a driving licence in the name of Bradford. Leicestershire Police asks anyone who knows where to contact him to call (0116) 253 0066.
