NEW name, new livery and new owner is the order of the day for Bury's largest bus operator GM Buses North who have sold out to First Bus plc which operates in Scotland, the Midland, Yorkshire and the South West.
Now they will cover the old GM Buses North routes in Bury, Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale and North Manchester.
First Bus plan to spend £5 million on new buses, with half being spent in this area.
Thirty-five new Dennis single deckers in their new dark orange livery will be in Bury this month replacing 40 old double deckers which will be taken out of service.
