SCORES of holidaymakers were demanding to be flown home by Rossendale firm Airtours after two children died at the Alcudia Pins complex in Majorca.
A 13-year-old British boy and an 11-year-old German girl are understood to have died from meningitis while staying at the hotel in Ca'an Picafort.
Hundreds of worried Britons staying at the three-star complex have been offered vaccinations, antibiotics, alternative accommodation and flights home.
The boy, who died in hospital on Monday, was taken ill at the hotel after a seven-day cruise with his parents and younger sister on the Airtours ship MS Seawing.
Airtours, the main British operator at the complex, today set up a special telephone line for up to 500 holidaymakers who are booked into Alcudia Pins over the next fortnight.
They are being offered alternative holidays or the chance to cancel without charge.
