A CONVOY of hippies claimed they had had a hostile reception from the villagers of Cliviger.
A country lay-by on the road out to Todmorden had been the campsite for the convoy for about a fortnight - despite an order from the county council to move on.
One member of the group said: "We are going to head south for some seaside and sunshine and won't spend any longer in Cliviger than we have to."
