NEW members have been signed up as a business green group continues to grow.
The Business Environment Association was originally set up in Blackburn to help businesses tackle environmental problems, reduce waste and energy consumption and keep within the law.
Earlier this year the BEA was given extra funding to extend its coverage across the area under the East Lancashire Business Environment Network banner.
Around 30 companies and organisations attended a seminar at Burnley Business Centre to outline the work of the BEA and the help available for improving environmental performance.
New firms who have signed up for membership include Marshalls Mono, Pendle Aeroform, Rigby's Aerotooling, Tenneco Walker, Burnley College, Victoria Forge, Schlumberger Metflex, Pendle Precision and Pendle Autostore.
