EUROVISION winner Eimar Quinn is a lady with a serious background in music.

The 23-year-old Dubliner is currently a second year music undergraduate at St Patrick's College, Maynooth.

And that's on top of being a classically trained singer who continues to study at Dublin's College of Music.

Eimar joined the Celtic vocal group Anuna in June 1995 and has performed live with the band in Britain, Sweden, France and Belfast. The band, who also performed in the show Riverdance, are now set to release their fourth album this summer.

Accompanying Eimar for the single, The Voice, is a band which includes Conor Byrne on whistle, Ronan Kennedy on keyboards, Aimee Leonard on bodrhan, Niall O Callanain on bouzouki and Cora Symth on fiddle.

The song is number 24 in the Irish charts and is expected to climb.
