QUEEN'S Park and Audley in Blackburn have become breeding grounds for theft, crime and drugs in recent months.
The majority of the problems are caused by small gangs of Pakistani lads. They hang out on street corners where they swear at residents and tease young ladies when they are walking past.
Recently, community leaders in the area have been in consultation with the police and they have been very co-operative. In return, they have asked the community to report incidents of crime and other police-related problems to them.
It is wonderful to see that Inspector Andy Pratt, Sgt Tom Mosely, Paul Goodall and the team of officers are doing a wonderful job in the area.
The whole community is behind the police. We support what they are doing. Our message to them is: keep on their backs, chase these thugs and when you catch them, lock them up.
Our thanks to the police. Well done, Chief Inspector Walsh and Paul Reynolds.
