ON behalf of Bank Top Ward, Blackburn Labour Party, we wish to thank the Labour voters in the ward for their loyalty and support once again.
The Labour candidate on May 2, Coun Mohammad Khan, not only increased his personal vote but also increased the Labour majority over last year.
For our part, we will strive to ensure that the ward receives its fair share of resources and, hopefully, by this time next year, we will also see an end of the draconian and debilitating attacks on local government with the sacking of this Tory government.
Coun KATE HOLLERN (campaign manager), Coun DON RISHTON (Labour Party agent), and Coun MOHAMMAD KHAN (Labour Party candidate).
