KIWI superstar Chris Harris rocketed Ramsbottom back into Marsden BS Lancashire League contention with a magnificent four wickets in four balls against Enfield.
It is the first time a league player has performed the feat since Haslingden's Alan Barnes took four consecutive Bacup wickets in 1986.
Harris had previously bowled a hat-trick for New Zealand against Orange Free State when touring South Africa. All four Enfield batsmen were caught close to the wicket as Ramsbottom took five points, joining East Lancs and Todmorden in joint second place behind leaders Lowerhouse.
The medium-pacer said: "If guys were putting it in the right spot they were getting it to do a little bit.
"When the wickets are wet and holding it tends to pop, which suits my bowling."
Elsewhere, Dan Marsh maintained the Todmorden challenge with an unbeaten 106 in their home win over Haslingden and Lowerhouse held off a spirited and thrilling Accrington reply to creep home by one run.
