BURNLEY chief Adrian Heath has warned his out-of-contact stars: "Sign on the dotted line or find another club."

Heath returned from the Netherlands last night following the Uitgeest International youth tournament and was straight back to business today.

And with several Clarets' first team stars still refusing to sign new deals at Turf Moor he rapped: "If the players in question don't want to sign, and they think they might be better off elsewhere, then that is great.

"I will not be hanging around for them to sign.

"Every player exercises the right not to sign a new deal but I want to get this thing sorted out as quickly as possible.

"I want to be going into the season with players who are available to me and want to play for Burnley. At least if I knew they weren't going to sign then I could look elsewhere.

"I can assure them that they won't be getting any favours from me as regards team selection if they are not willing to pledge their futures to Burnley."

Only defender Gary Parkinson has made his intentions clear. He turned down a one year deal within 24 hours of the offer. Goalkeeper Marlon Beresford, utility star Gerry Harrison and midfielder Warren Joyce are still holding out on new contracts.

Defender Chris Vinnicombe will prove his fitness following a broken ankle before discussing a possible extended deal with the Burnley player-manager.

Heath has also revealed he is tracking a Premiership star and two players from the Endsleigh League First Division.

"I've had quite a good response from them and I will be talking to them again in the next 24 hours.

"Now there are quite a few players around it is just a case of sounding them out and finding out their initial reponse to see if they would be interested in a move here."

He confirmed has already spoken to Norwich City and Wales midfielder Jeremy Goss, released by the Carrow Road club this month.

He added: "I've had talks with the player and he has indicated he will get back to me once he has discussed the situation with his wife. "As I've said all along he is the type of quality player I want to bring to Burnley. It is only a couple of seasons ago he was scoring the winning goal against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Cup.

"There may be developments on a couple of fronts in the near future also.

"I am hoping that by the time the players report back for pre-season training in mid-July then we will have at least three new faces in the squad."

Burnley's youngsters gave a good account of themselves at the Uitgeest International Tournament in Holland over the weekend.

The Clarets missed out on a final appearance on goal difference, but recorded a 2-0 win over MVV (Holland) and creditable draws against AZ67 Alkmaar (0-0) and Tatran Presov (2-2).

Heath added: "All the youngsters performed with great credit and it was a great education for them."

Bob Lord Stand season ticket holders have until 1.00 pm this Saturday to reclaim their seats for next season. Then seats will go on open sale at 9.15 on Monday.
