MUFFIN the Mule (LET, May 25) was my delight when I was a little girl and, one Christmas, my only desire was to have Muffin.
You can imagine my delight when Christmas came and a big box was there for me to open.
On opening it, I found it was a walkie-talkie Cinderella doll. I was so disappointed.
To me, as a child, Muffin was real. I loved him as only a child could.
The stamp displaying his picture will be sheer joy.
I now possess a Muffin video, but nothing can recapture the pleasure he brought to my childhood.
So I say yes to the stamps.
