BEGGAR'S might not be able to be choosers but it seems they can be buskers.
That's one man's view about a Leigh town centre street musician.
"What's the difference between a beggar and a busker?" he asked at a Leigh Police and Community Consultative meeting.
Complaining that the musician's chairs and boards blocked the pavement he reckoned the man's singing was terrible and felt in this instance the term beggar was fitting.
Superintendent David Edge said complaints about obstruction would be investigated but comments on the quality of singing was a matter of personal choice!
